Inntravel Slow Moments Competition and Joe Cornish Gallery Exhibition
I am absolutely thrilled and delighted to announce that my talented husband, Greg Goldston, has had his photograph selected as one of the final 16 for the Inntravel Slow Moments Competition and will have his picture displayed in the Joe Cornish Gallery, Northallerton, from 16th January – 5th February 2016.
Inntravel “specialise in Slow holidays, that is to say, holidays which reveal the lesser-taken path and which offer a truly individual holiday experience.”
The competition ran from April to October and has attracted some stunning entries. The brief was to capture a picture that represented a “Slow Moment.”
Greg’s picture of the Pony Awaiting the Sunrise was the winner for the month of June.
This is a gorgeous picture and was taken on a winter morning in December, on top of Exmoor. The pony is waiting for the sun to rise so that the ground begins to thaw and the pony can have some breakfast!
Greg is absolutely delighted to have his photo displayed in the Gallery because Joe Cornish has always been one of his heroes and has been a huge inspiration to him in his own work.
All the seven monthly winners and a further nine entries will be on display in the Joe Cornish Gallery and will be available for sale as prints. You can see the 16 finalists here.
The exhibition opens on 16th January 2016. It is at this special event that the overall winner of the competition will be announced.
The winner will receive a WIN A HOLIDAY-CUM-PHOTOGRAPHIC-ASSIGNMENT and discover the majesty of the Swiss Alps on a memorable Grand Tour of Switzerland from Inntravel.
Well done Greg!
